Genesee County Bars People Miss the Most

We asked a simple question on Facebook: What Genesee County bar would you bring back tomorrow if you could? And holy hell did the comments start rolling in.

More than 400 comments poured in from people naming the bars they miss the most around Flint and Genesee County. Some remembered legendary live music spots, others talked about cheap drinks, packed dance floors, giant burgers, killer wings, or simply the friends and memories tied to those places.

Flint Area Bars Still Bringing Back Memories

The comments quickly turned into a full-blown trip down memory lane. Honestly, I couldn’t stop scrolling through them because everybody had a story.

Some people talked about meeting their husband or wife at one of these old bars, which is pretty awesome. Others remembered killer live bands, doing stand-up for the first time, blowing way too much money at the jukebox, or just rolling in every weekend with the same crew.

And yeah...more than a few people admitted they were probably getting into some of these places way before they were actually old enough.
