
This Genesee County Fun Run Is Back And Bigger Than Ever
A Genesee County tradition is back, and this year it will be better than ever. If you’re into fitness, running, or just having some family fun, this event is for you.
Lake Fenton Community Fun Run Returns In 2026
The Lake Fenton Hope Squad is getting the community moving with the 2026 Community Fun Run.
It takes place on May 16, 2026, on the cross country course at Lake Fenton High School, located at 4070 Lahring Road in Linden.
What To Expect At The Lake Fenton 5K And Color Run
This event is open to the public and features a 5K run starting at 11 a.m. For avid runners, this is a great chance to try a new course, connect with others, and get some practice in before the Crim.

Then at 12:30 p.m., there’s something special for not-so-serious runners and kids of all ages. A local favorite returns as the Color Run kicks off.
Additional Event Details For The May 16 Lake Fenton Fun Run
There will also be several local vendors on site. Lake Fenton alum and local radio host Jeremy Fenech will be emceeing and DJing both events.

To participate, it’s $15 for adults and just $5 for kids under 8. You can also purchase a limited-edition commemorative Lake Fenton Hope Squad Color Run T-shirt for only $10.
