The former location of Maxie's Food & Spirits briefly became Goodfella's for a short time until it became the awesome Mexican restaurant, Nuevo Vallarta. Not to mention, Meijer just underwent a massive renovation.

Tropical Smoothie Café recently opened a new location, Pure Bliss Salon & Spa has a brand new building, and of course Costco recently opened a new location in Mundy Township. And right now there is something new happening near Hill & Torrey Roads.

Clean Express Is Coming to Hill Road in Mundy Township

For months now you may have seen construction happening in front of the Hill Road Meijer. Well we finally know what is coming, another car wash.

When I originally saw construction happening, I thought it was going to be an expansion of Route 23 Auto located next to the new project. But it turns out that it's actually going to be another Clean Express Auto Wash.

New Clean Express Location Planned for Davison

The new Mundy Township location will be at 2474 West Hill Road in Flint, right in front of Meijer. But they are also building a second location at 1211 Irish Road in Davison. A few months back, Clean Express opened their first Genesee County location in an old Rite Aid building at Linden and Corunna Roads in Flint Township.

The Detroit-based company also partners with Michigan sports teams like the Detroit Tigers and the Detroit Red Wings. With washing plans ranging from $20 up to $40, they offer unlimited washes with several options. With locations in Detroit, Toledo, and the Greater Cleveland area, it appears that the Flint-area is next on the company's radar.
